Thousands of us use Barking Station every day, but currently, the station is a messy building site.
The narrow entrance and single set of ticket barriers make the station difficult to navigate, the toilets and lifts are constantly broken, and too many fare-dodgers are getting away with not paying for tickets.
I also know many of you feel unsafe in and around the station because of crime and anti-social behaviour, and the station building works are making litter around the station worse.
C2C first agreed they would refurbish Barking Station in 2014. Years later, the works have still not been completed.
The current state of Barking Station is not good enough. It is a vital transport hub and landmark in our borough. It must be fully accessible and fit for purpose.
Join my campaign to tell C2C that Barking deserves a better station and tell them to get the works finished.
